We were just a couple of guys that started beekeeping in 2020. We’ve learned a lot in our short time. We dove head first into beekeeping after taking a class.

We love rescuing honey bee colonies and swarms. But of course as hobbyists, we can only maintain so many colonies.

We were inspired to develop The Comb Assistant through some homemade ideas we saw on social media. We had the skillsets and tools to create a product that would allow hobbyist beekeepers to more easily encourage their honey bees to draw out foundationless honey comb that can be harvested and sold.
